– 2 stalkscelery chopped
– 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
– 1/2 tsp pepper or to taste
– 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
– 5 cups chicken broth
– 1/2 tsp thyme dried
– 1 cube chicken bouillon or 1 tsp poultry seasoning
– 2 bay leaves
– 2 cups water
– 1 lb chicken breast boneless and skinless (about 2)
– 1/2 cup peas frozen
– 2 tbsp parsley fresh, for garnish
