– 2 tbsp butter
– 5 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
– 1/4 tsp kosher salt
– 1 pinch ground nutmeg
– 1 lb dry fettuccini noodles, broken in half to fit flat in the pot
– 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
– 3 tbsp fresh basil, cut into thin ribbons
