– 2 lbs. bone-in chicken
– 1 1/2 tsp pepper
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tbsp. ghee or butter
– 1 large onion chopped
– 2 clovesminced garlic
– 6 cups organic chicken broth
– 5 medium carrots
– 4 ribs celery
– 2 bay leaves (optional)
– 1/2 tsp thyme
– 1/2 tsp parsley
– 1 tbsp. lemon juice
– 16 oz. egg noodles? (or gluten free egg noodles)
– 2 cups extra chicken broth (optional)
