– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 tablespoons cornstarch
– 3 tablespoons cold water
– 10 ouncesshredded carrots
– Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
– Hot, cooked rice or quinoa, for serving
