– 3 carrots, diced
– 2 celery ribs, diced
– 3 garlic cloves, minced
– 3 lb boneless short ribs
– 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
– 15 can diced tomatoes
– 3 tbsp tomato paste
– 1/2 cup red wine
– 1 tbsp basil (fresh, chopped)
– 1 tbsp parsley (fresh, chopped)
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– salt and pepper (for meat seasoning)
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
